NBA Combines Augmented Reality with 360 Portals in its New NBA AR App

NBA combines augmented reality with 360 Portals in the new NBA AR app by the National Basketball Association inviting fans to experience indelible and behind-the-scenes moments of the NBA 2018 Finals and Playoffs.

The new NBA AR app has now been made freely available for Android devices, which was initially launched just for iPhones by October 2017. The app will also offer special content for on-demand NBA Finals, which will be obtained and availed all through the series, in order to feature a variety of experiences of NBA Playoffs such as player introductions, post game celebrations and team huddles.

A virtual door will also be superimposed in the 360 Portals with the help of Google ARCore and Apple ARKit technologies, through fans can immerse themselves in all the NBA action. In addition, the 360-degree videos of major events that are widely followed including NBA games are available already on different online platforms.

Since, the new addition of portal adventure by NBA makes the app more worthy to experience. It makes people feel more exciting and immersive about the features within 360 Portals. The new NBA AR app can be downloaded from the App store or Google Play.
